Executive Associates
Every different type of business background is represented within the network of accredited Associates. However, the one thing all the graduates have in common is experience. All come from positions such as Chief Executive, Managing Director or Executive Board Director. Having run some of the biggest companies in the world, many have also started, run and sold their own businesses.
Selection, Training, & Accreditation
In order to carry the IIB logo, executives must pass through the institute’s selection procedure, and then successfully complete the Consultancy Business Development Programme.
The training provides executives with a framework and methodology for providing their own practical advice that works particularly to independent small to medium sized businesses. The Course which first started in 1991 has seen thousands of executives graduate and become Accredited Associates who are uniquely qualified to provide the IIB Business Support Programme™, to boast of their accredited status and carry the IIB logo on their business stationery.
Continual Professional Development and the IIB Extranet
Training, National and International Conferences, Workshops, Regional Group meetings, Seminars, Webinars, and Newsletters provide ongoing support to keep Institute graduates up to date as business generalists. The IIB Associates’ extranet allows availability to an invaluable global network of expertise, advice and information for all accredited Associates to tap into as and when their clients need specialist support.
Benefits to Businesses
The experience and depth of knowledge available within the Community of Associates combined with the methodology and structure taught within the Consultancy Business Development Programme and the IIB Business Support Programme™ deliver the best possible support for independent businesses and their owners. The global distribution of Associates also means that most business owners are not far from an adviser who has graduated and become an accredited Associate and is therefore qualified to carry the IIB logo within their personal credentials.
